My Busy Weekend
Let's see, where to start? Sorry I haven't updated more often but I have been extremely busy these last few days. I have two major assignments due on Tuesday this week: my first Humanities portfolio and an art analysis paper for Style and Structure. I haven't finished either one yet, but do not give up hope. I will have them both finished soon. All I have left for the paper is a final copy, which means I just need to go back and revise. That should take a few hours tops. On the Humanities portfolio, I still finished the response journal, which takes up the most amount of time, so I only have about 6 pages left to do total, 3 value assessments and 3 responses to those values.
Never fear, I did get to have some fun this weekend as well. Last night I went to see the new Pride and Prejudice with Trey (the guy I mentioned on Tuesday's entry). It was wonderful. I have yet to decide which version I like better, this one or the A & E version. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend that you do. It is currently at the Movies 8 in North Richland Hills ($1 before 6pm, $1.50 after and only $0.50 all day Tuesday). I am counting down to the DVD release date: April 11th for those who are interested.
After the movie, I came home to hang out with my sisters and Angela (my younger sister's best friend) since she was spending the night. We did fun makeovers, meaning that we were all wearing an outrageous amount of make-up. We kept joking that we were connecting with either our inner diva or our inner drag queen. We have the embarassing pics to prove it. Anyway, I had fun. I didn't end up getting to bed until around 3 in the morning and then I was expected to wake-up to work on homework today. Needless to say, I slept late.
I still have more homework to do, so I guess I need to stop stalling and get back to it. My work is never done, but I guess y'all know what that's like as well. I can't wait 'til I finish college so that I can stop worrying about homework, though I have this suspicious feeling that I will still be just as busy when I enter the work environment. I guess we can never get away from this lifestyle, but I think I would be bored out of my mind if I didn't have things to do all the time. Of course, then I would have more time to read :)

I want to apologize for the release date of April 11th. The crooks/scoundrels at Blockbuster told me that... Feb 28th is the correct date. You don't have to wait too long to own it.
